Wingspan is 1 5/16 - 1 11/16 inches.
Brackish marshes and areas with nectar sources close to brackish marshes.
Rare and found only near brackish
marshes along the Atlantic coast.
Adults fly from mid May until early October in two broods with a large
gap between broods. More information is needed about the flight times.
Larval Host Plants:
This is a very hard skipper to find unless you conduct a concentrated
search for it.
I have found Aaron's Skipper in the Dare Bombing Range in Dare Co., NC,
in the Great Dismal Swamp in southeastern VA and the Savannah National
Wildlife Refuge in southeastern SC.
