|
Size: Large to about 3 inches. Habitat: Along woodland edges and openings. Flight Period: Early spring Comments: The above and right photos were taken in Orange County on March 23, 2000. The female at the bottom was found on April 6, 2000 in Scotland County at the Sandhills Gamelands. I noticed in Person County on April 11, 2000 that a male I saw was much more lime green in the thorax stripes and abdomen spots. perhaps as they mature they get more lime green? |
