Size: Small about 1 3/8 inches.

Habitat: Ponds, lakes and sand bottom lakes ditches.

Flight Period: May - September

Comments: Males feed near ponds and lakes in fields either open or overgrown. Flight is usually close to ground up to 4 foot. No other pennant has black marked wings like the Banded Pennant.
