Comments: Males perch along the edges of ponds and lakes on knee height perches usually.

The above photo of an immature male Amanda`s Pennant was taken along a sandy road next to a seepage spot in the Scotland county portion of the Sandhills Gamelands on June 11, 2000. The female at right was found in the Scotland county portion of the Sandhills Gamelands in July 1999. The male below was found in Carteret County at Croatan National Forest in September 1999.
