This black form female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is nectaring on a wild daylily, notice it`s covered with pollen. This swallowtail species the female is dimorphic. The dark form female mimics the Pipevine Swallowtail.

Hosts: Wild Black Cherry (Prunus serotina) and Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifrera)
