# 10202 Painted Lady Sub Family:Nymphalinae This Painted lady is on zinnia. It`s easlily mistaken for the American Lady which is more common in the eastern US. These butterflies migrate out of Mexico into the US. Thistles are a favorite nectar source. These butterflies are second only to Monarchs in worldwide distrubution.
