All the slides were chosen to depict actual live butterflies in as natural of habitats as possible. Butterflies are shown breeding, freshly emerged, hilltopping, laying eggs, nectaring, perching, puddling, at rotten fruit, sunning, worn and even upside-down! Giving a real sense of the life of a butterfly. Gray Hairstreak slide from the basic program! Below is a freshly emerged Palamedes Swallowtail from the Coastal Program
