The paragraph on the back says: Chinese Mantid This female mantis was waiting for prey with its front legs spread out ready to strike. It slowly crawled among the flowers looking for butterflies and bees. You can see that the wings extend over the entire abdomen, the smaller Carolina Mantid has much shorter wings. Card #0533 |
