Two-tailed Swallowtail (Papilio multicaudata)\nTaken in the Huachuca Mountains at Garden Canyon in Cochise Co., AZ on August 23, 2004. Two-tailed Swallowtail (Papilio multicaudata)\nTaken in the Huachuca Mountains at Garden Canyon in Cochise Co., AZ on August 23, 2004. This is a western US species, these photos were taken in southeastern Arizona and Colorado. The Western Tiger Swallowtail is a slightly smaller look alike species. The two tails makes for an easy ID if they aren't missing.
