Habitat:

Abundance: Very rare, usually hanging around 20 foot up in the trees.

Flight Period:

Comments: This Early Hairstreak my first and only was found in Rockbridge County, VA on June 24, 2001. It was along a gravel road on a steep slope where Sweet White Clover, Melilotus alba was very abundant. Also found was 100 Banded Hairstreaks and a Gray Comma nearby.
