Purplish Copper (Lycaena helloides) male\nTaken along Cabin Creek in Arapaho National Forest in Grand Co., CO on July 13, 2005. These small coppers were chasing every butterfly that landed on flowers near it. In fact they made it nearly impossible to get photos of other butterflies along Cabin Creek.

Along a creekside trail just north of Steamboat Springs Colorado they were very common as were Blue Coppers.
