All Photos taken at Randy Bishop`s feeder in Chapel Hill, NC on January
06, 2001 On January 10, 2001 Susan Campbell caught and banded the hummingbird
and made a positive ID adult female Rufous Hummingbird. Thanks Susan
for all your dedicated hard work. She only saw one hummer when she
was there. When I visited I did see two hummers one perched and another flying. I really could`nt tell from these photos if this is one hummer or both? I was waiting at the feeder for more than 2 hours and saw hummers come in one at a time about twelve times.
These photos were taken from a distance of about 12 foot with my 100-400 IS zoom lens, 540EZ flash and bogden tripod |
